without email or internet...
...due to BT not being able to connect our phone until a week after we moved in and our ISP refusing to accept an order for broadband until our phone line was active and then our ISP changing their routers causing a backlog in sending the new ones out and the first router not arriving and the second one being delayed and then having internet access for all of about, ooh, one hour before a red light came on and our ISP not being able to resolve the problem and calling BT and BT coming out and saying they were going to have to dig the pavement up and then a very, very nice and sincere young man coming out this morning and tracking our cable all the way back to the exchange and spending two and a half hours sorting the problem out for us and me being so happy I could have nearly kissed him but I thought he might sue me for assault and Parsley would have been upset so I didn't.
Anyway.
